What to expect when you reach out

How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To

When you reach out, you are connected with an independent local provider. That is usually someone who takes calls for a restoration business, such as a dispatcher or an estimator. They work for their own company, not for Varygas Restoration.

They do the work. We do not. Think of us as the person who points you to the right door.

What Happens on the Call

The call is short and calm. Expect a few simple questions.

  • Where did the water come from, and is it stopped?
  • Which rooms are wet?
  • How long has it been there?
  • Is there standing water or only damp surfaces?
  • Is anything unsafe, like water near outlets?

Your answers help the provider decide what to bring. Many providers can respond quickly, but availability varies, so ask what they can offer for your situation.

What to Ask a Provider

A good provider will not mind questions. Try these:

  • Are you licensed and insured in my state?
  • Will you give me a written quote before work starts?
  • What does the quote include, and what could change it?
  • How will you dry the structure, and how will you check that it is dry?
  • Can you help document the damage for my insurance claim?
  • How long do you expect the job to take?

Dry is the goal. Ask how they will prove it, with readings and notes, not just a quick look.

You Are in Control

Talking to a provider does not lock you in. You can ask for a second quote. You can say no. You can take a day to think, although with water in the house, the clock matters.

Get it in writing before you agree to anything big. If someone pushes you to sign right now, that is a good moment to pause.
